Polina's Story

Polina Mirskiy was originally born in Moldova and later moved to Israel where she attended school, the IDF, and college. Polina then moved to the US and studied at Von Lee International School of Aesthetics where she became a Licensed Esthetician. For 7 years, she worked at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa where she held a position as Spa Department Lead/Educator. She later proceeded to open her first Skincare studio, Amber Room at the Owings Mills JCC. In 2014, she and Hair Specialist, Julie Doronina teamed up to open Amber Room Day Spa in Pikesville, MD, where they currently operate. She is very passionate about providing exceptional Skincare services while using high-quality products that she trusts. She specializes in treating diverse skin types and conditions for all women and teens. For her waxing services, Polina uses Italian Calendula-Tea Tree Hard Wax that is great for sensitive areas, like the Brazilian, Bikini, Underarm, and Face waxing. Polina believes in taking care of your skin as if it's a sacred ritual and she strives to make everyone feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
